1/2 cup chia seeds
1/2 cup linseeds (whole)
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1 cup water
1/2 tsp sea salt
Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl and allow the mixture to sit and ‘gel’ for about 5-10 minutes until it is spreadable. Divide the mixture into two and spread each onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake for half an hour in the oven at 180C. Remove from the oven and cut into squares. Bake for another half an hour or so, or until just beginning to brown and get crispy.
Enjoy with guacamole, nut cheeses, salsa, or whatever you please! For variations you could add sundried tomatoes and oregano, or sweeten it up with some dried fruit and cinnamon. The opportunities are endless!
